Originally conceived
for weekend getaway homes on smaller stands, offering smaller footprints for homes.
Those who bought and built have not been able to tear themselves away from
their bit of "Paradise on this earth" - and are permanent residents. (apart from
3 of them).
Only 15 homes are set in a treed environment, with it's own
little lake, fed by two perennial stream throughout the year. The Glades is set
in a separate nature reserve with beautiful Fynbos, 4 roaming Sprinboks and two
little streams.
Imagine you live in a nature reserve, the bokkies nibble
on the lawn (and the flowers), the kids paddle or swim in the lake - you sit on
your verandah and sip you G&T or a glass of Wedderwill wine while the sun goes
down.
Too tough? Well, the 15 Homeowners enjoy just that - and so do
their kids.
Wouldn't you like your kids to grow up like that? The plots/stands
range in size from 800- 1200sqm. They have made movies in the Glades, it has a
special magic.
